Buildings must also comply to the needed accommodations that will aid in the protecting the environment and at the same time the people living in it. Good thing that you shared these pointers so that building owners will also be on the-know regarding these matters.

This is a very exciting list and certainaly applies equally well to both the commercial and residential sector. We just helped to launch a Time of Sale pilot project in BC on Salt Spring Island and Oak Bay. Home sellers are encouraged to have their home energy rated (EnerGuide) before the sell and post that rating on the MLS listings, to increase home marketability.

...and don't forget about the grants and other promotional tools for encouraging homeowners and other groups to engage in energy efficiency upgrades! Click on our website to find out the ecoENERGY grants of up to $5000 for homeowners wanting to upgrade their home's windows, doors, heating, ventilation, insulation, solar hot water and more!

City Green Solutions is the only non-profit provider of the Federal ecoENERGY grants program in BC.
